..I went to local store bought cleaning supplies and would have stayed longer if they wouldn't have cheated us out of the boat rental? Very bad experience.
Very bad experience..cabin was not ready no owner mgr to b found.. finally someone else who rented there got us keys then a couple hours later young man came to clean. He cleaned bathroom then started to clean kitchen wit same cloth..upholstered furniture stained and smelled... dog poo all over between cabin and lake..this spot is very muddy not great for swimming. Rented pontoon boat ahead of time on the day of again no owner mgr. Could not get keys then weather turned and stormed all day, of course the mgr. Was easily available to tell me no refunds. We rent 3 to 4 cabins at a time, usually for a week. It gets very expensive, but worth the money for a break, just not here.

My pregnant wife and I had the most wonderful experience recently at hills point resort. We've been here for almost 3 weeks now and the peacefulness, amazing sunsets, the empathetic and always helpful manager and owner of the place have provided a much needed break when we needed it the most! Our dog has had the time of his life, we've kayaked, ridden boats, fished, grilled amazing meals and met some great people. The cabins are clean due to the dedicated diligence of their cleaning woman, Lou, Roger the manager has gone out of his way to be accommodating and its obvious that the owner of the place cares about the comfort of his guests! A definite vacation hideaway that we will enjoy for years to come!
